T.N.T. Think, No Think This is an experiment about cognitive control, which is the ability to stay focused on one thing without being distracted by another. For example, if you are in class taking a math test and your neighbor keeps sneezing, you show cognitive control when you can pay attention to your test instead of getting distracted by your neighbor. Both kids and adults take part in our experiment. During this experiment people play games while we take pictures of their brains. Then we compare the two age groups and see if people get better at controlling their thoughts as they get older. |
